Today Kevin and I decided to rent a car and go see where Reggio has a separate campus in the town of Ligonchio. It is about 2121 meters high. It was an amazing site! The views and roads where both something. It is here where teachers come as students to learn what it is like to question nature. I can't imagine a better place for it - well maybe not quite as hot!!
Yesterday Kevin and I went to Parma and saw it's wonderful center full of history. We came upon the Baptistery. This structure was finished mid 13th Century and was one of the most important Italian medieval monuments. The style is Romanesque, but shows early French Gothic architecture. What I found interesting is that this structure's ceiling was the inspiration for Michelangelo's work for the Sistine Chapel!

What a great trip. Someday I'll visit the Reggio sites of interest - it is on my list of must see places to visit at some point in my life.
